Has anyone taken this to kick start a period? it's been 6 days since my last dose and I'm still waiting for AF to start, I'm starting to worry that it isn't going to work.

Yes, I have had to take Provera since I was about 18, combined with an estrogen replacement, due to a condition called Turner Syndrome.  It works like clockwork for me - I take it for 10 days of my cycle, and, without fail, 2 or 3 days after I finish taking it, my period starts.

Am currently taking oral provera it to bring on my period. Instructions were to take it twice/day for 10 days. FS expects period will arrive within 5 days of stopping and if not to call him. I suggest that you call the prescribing dr if you're worried as they might need to increase the dose you're on? GL.

I'm sure my period started within 3 days of stopping the tablets.

I don't remember how many days after stopping my period arrived - but it was a couple - maybe five/six/seven. I started to panic that I defied medical logic and was immune to Provera.

Hope it comes soon for you.
