I live in Werribee, Victoria... Aidan (3) was born at the Royal Women's in the birth centre.. Eve (2)was a home waterbirth Eve's story
Max(number three due in a couple of weeks!) is also a planned waterbirth at home.. I just find hospitals are not the environment for me... I work fulltime as IT Support, and just finished up on Friday, so really happy about that... Feels so great to be work free! My husband Sam stays at home with the kids, so I am doing really well to get 3.5 months off with this babe - the others I was back after a month. It's really hard to leave the kids in the morning... I'd rather be at home, but money...
Still, at least I know they have Sam with them all day, which helps! So three months with all the family together will be great...
Been getting cramps a lot, and sharp pains in my cervix. Good signs that everything is getting ready, and I hope Max will birth sooner rather than later so that I get more time with him before returning to work. Eve was two weeks late!! Grrr, so instead of the 6 weeks I was hoping for, only 4.
Well, we do a trial run with the birth pool - we've moved house since the last one so not sure how long between hot water tank heats up etc and how many water tank loads is needed
The birth should be pretty fast, so just hoping to get a chance to use the pool!!
Well, gotta go, 2 year old grizzling and coming into sight
