Hi all,

I read all the birth stories here before having my baby girl in August last year. I have finally gotten around to writing the story up and as promised to myself wanted to share it with other!

It is on my blog  here

Come visit! Happy to answer any questions :)

Congratulations of the birth of your baby :)

Any chance of getting it just on here rather than a link to your blog?

Oh you are a wonderful writer.

Congratulations on the birth of your DD. I want one of those "surely there is no way I'm in labour' labours in a couple of weeks time lol. You give me hope :)

I love your story.

Funny story - you write well.

I am impressed by your cull of your wardrobe too - I don't have more than 33 things (excluding underwear) to cull to sadly, as I am in an organising mood.

Your OBSTETRICIAN drove you to the hospital? That is seriously cool!

Thanks guys! Bakesgirls I would have posted it here but it is rather long... in 3 parts in fact!

I hope that those of you waiting for the big moment also get shat on by a bird. Hmm... :)

What a great story :)

I remember with both my births saying that it was all too hard, I'm going home and I want to forget this whole baby thing
