I'm just enquiring to see if any one has any info about hormonal support in pregnancy with no ovaries to provide natural hormones. Or know of an Obstetrician in the Melbourne area who may have expertise in this area? Thanks in advance

HI,
I'm not pregnant (fiance and I are just starting the IVF route) but I am in the same boat as you.  I'm happy to discuss it via PM.

Hi Theypullthestrings and Willow,

I am not from Melbourne, so can't help and I haven't had to go through what you are experiencing, but I just wanted to say hi and that I've known of women with no ovaries who have used donor eggs and their partner's sperm and gone on to have healthy babies. I'm not sure what the precise hormone regime was they were on, but the important part is that in the end, they got their precious little babies. I hope you get the same. All the best to you both :)

Elsie
