Sorry to hear, tia :( Fingers crossed for next cycle! Is your gyno planning on doing anything different?

Sorry to hear Tia :(

Afm... CD 17, been using opks twice a day. Yesterday morning only a faint second line, then a lot darker last night. FMU this morning was even darker (almost as dark as the control line) but then tonight its gone back to a faint line. Don't know if I missed the surge or I'm not O'ing? I will do another one in the morning but usually I get a test line darker than the control line so I don't know what to think :( Tonight I feel hot in the face and have some lower abdominal discomfort

How annoying, maybebaby :( Hopefully the surge was some time today and you just missed it - especially if you had a line about the same as the control line this morning. Hopefully your BD timing is right! Forgot to respond from the last thread; no I'm not using OPKs this time. They're so confusing and I forget to do them, so I'll just have to trust my body to do the right thing, haha

5 days of sex = complete. Fingers crossed it will work! Have my CD21 blood test on Friday.

ETA - Oh, also! maybebaby, I've been having HEAPS of discomfort in my lower abdomen, it's horrible!

Kentieness... sounds like you got plenty of bd in. Fxd.

We have managed every second day since last wednesday so hoping its enough. DH isn't up for every day due to his shift work fatigue. On my opk I got only a faint second line this morning so going to have to assume if I did O, it was yesterday and I missed it but can't be sure. I have a small temp rise this morning but not much. Guess I will have to wait for my blood test later in the week.

How is everybody else going? New week, new month :)

Tia - sorry to hear about the temp drop.  Hopefully next month.

Shiv... I can definitely recommend getting a dog. I have two beautiful girls and they are my world. They have given their ear for me to talk/cry/vent to many times!

Glad to hear AF is here for you finally (given that you had a bfn etc). Good luck for your next cycle!

Only a faint line again tonight so i guess yesterday was it? Sore nipples tonight which is generally a sign of o so fxd. Hoping my temps start to rise. I have my blood test on Thursday so will know for sure on Friday.

Goodluck, I find nipples get sore also after ovulation and usually stay sore for awhile! Fx you have a high score on blood test 😊

DH agreed to a dog but said I have to wait till end of year.  Hormonal,  so it feels unreasonable.  Damn logical and practical men - I should give him the Clomid! :p

Glad you can finally start a new cycle, tia. Hope this one works out better!

Good luck for Thursday, maybebaby :) I'll have to wait till Monday for my results, damn!

Shiv - I got 2 cats when we were TTC#1. They're such a good source of comfort! Unfortunately one was hit by a car in February, which was devastating :( Sucks that you have to wait to get a dog, seems like all we ever do here is wait :p

ain't that the truth kentieness!

and DH drives me nuts, because he's so rational and logical, and just sees it as a problem to fix, and that I should be patient. But its not his body going through the treatment, or his emotions going up and down.

I had a big meltdown last night and cried, and told him I was feeling like my experience of what's happening isn't valid, because he keeps going on about how its only been 2 cycles, there's lots of treatment options, we should just be patient etc.

*hugs* Shiv, it's really hard. No one quite understands and I know my DH always wants to "fix" things and look for the practical solutions (must be a male thing?) when sometimes I just wanted him to hug me and agree that it sucks (he has figured this out now after me explaining it to him, haha). Being patient is great in theory, but it's not like you can just flick a switch and say 'okay, I'll just patiently wait for my chance to hold my own baby in my arms!'.

I think there all the same ladies haha
mine, always says "stop stressing" "you stress to much"!! I'm like excuse me, I'm the one that has been going through numerous doctors app, blood test, ultrasounds shoved inside me, things being taken out of me, natural drug free m/c (very painful) so yeah excuse me if I stress a little too much here and there in the last FOUR years!!!! Ghrrrr

Gets me mad! But on the other hand, if he was the opposite and was stressing and getting on my back why we haven't had a baby yet then that would be the worst!

So I'm glad he is supportive even though it's annouying the way it comes across sometimes. Haha. Sometimes if he can see I'm down he will crack a joke etc. So it helps.

My DH always says how much i stress and obsess. One day last week i had left the thermometer on the dining room table and didnt realise until i woke up and went to take my temp. I woke him up to go get it as i didnt want to get out of bed as it would affect the result. I didnt hear the end of that haha. He is good at helping me be a bit more light hearted etc and making jokes every now and then.

But I am one of the most impatient people in the world so almost 12 month TTC is taking its toll. So always find myself having a good cry every now and then

Just spoke to my doc also and he said for me to do Clomid on same days as cycle #1 and get a blood test done 5days or so after my temps rise! Really over we it!!now I have to put a smile on and meet with clients! Yay!!!

Meant work.  That's great Tia. But yes,  hard working and pulling on the happy persona when you don't feel that way.

Ladies, I am on CD3 atm, and I feel like af is finishing up today, but I am meant to start Clomid day 5?? Does this matter?? I got the impression you are to start it while af is still around??

Don't really want to call my doc, coz this may be a stupid question???!! 😬

#23 Shiv7897

Posted 03 June 2015 - 12:21 PM

Depends on what doc says. If he said Cd5 take it then.  I don't think it's linked to AF  more just beginning of cycle

#24 kentieness

Posted 03 June 2015 - 02:59 PM

I take Clomid days 5-9, when AF finishes is irrelevant :)

I must be a bit different using letrezol for my OI. I'm day 3-7 😄
