I know I'm getting a little ahead of myself :-) I just thought I'd share what I liked/didn't like from previous pgs, if you have any advice you'd like to add please do!
#1 and #2 were summer/autumn babies, so I pretty much wore out those maternity clothes. I bought quite a few things from Pumpkin Patch, as well as just normal flowy summer shirts in bigger sizes. I also wore maxi dresses (I can't wear them not pregnant now, they just look wrong, lol!) I had some Jeanswest maternity jeans which were awesome. I bought feeding shirts, but I found that it was usually easier just to wear a maternity singlet with a normal shirt over the top.
#3 was a mostly winter pg (so I have lots of winter maternity stuff, which won't be very useful this time, lol!) I bought maternity bras from Mamaway which were absolutely fantastic and I'll buy more this time. I bought lots of Mamaway clothes which were good because they are maternity and breastfeeding so I got lots of wear during pg and after. However I didn't like their jeans.

Thank you for creating this thread, 123Babies4Me - being our first I have no idea where to start and what I will need. I want to buy some clothes this coming week, only because I know I won't have much time afterwards, so was just going to go to the local shopping centre and see what's there. I know it's early but think I had better buy some work clothes now because I have over a month before I want to tell anyone and think my clothes might give me away before then.

Oh I had a quick peek in Mamaway yesterday! I like the look of some of their stuff.
I may have already bought a couple of things from Target...
I like the look of Jeans West maternity - what does everyone prefer, the over-the -bump stretchy waistband or the jeans with the stretchy side panels? With my boys, I couldn't BEAR the feeling of over-the-bump so any pants or skirts I wear will have the be under-the-bump. Hoping to be able to get away with dresses a fair bit, easy to accessorise at least.
I'm going to drag out what little of my maternity gear I kept & see what state it's in. My dear friend has given me a huge (one of those striped shopping bags, you know the massive ones) FULL of stuff that I'm hoping will fit. Might go do a bit of a wardrobe sort this arvo.

Lordy, maternity clothes in WA are in short supply and the range pretty much sucks. Went shopping yesterday and ended up buying a few larger tops instead of maternity ones a) because there wasn't a big selection and b) because they were just not appealing. I think I might have to go to maternity clothes specific shops and check out online, the usual shops in shopping centres just don't seem to have a good selection.

Crossroads have recently released maternity clothing, so i'm heading to one of their store that stock it tomorrow - ideally to get my hands on some comfy skinny jeans...
I'm plus size, and found last time rather hard to find many maternity clothing.. i wore some comfy pants i bought from kmart. Luckily some plus size clothing was a bit generous in the belly region so was able to wear them for most of my pregnancy.
With feeding, i gave up quickly on the nursing tops (especially with the tiny holes), and just went with large tshirts and pulled them up - definitely works well.

I just grabbed some great items from the Sussan maternity range.

Target have lots of stretchy soft fabrics and good casual dresses for summer (just in their normal section not maternity). But try before you buy, Im normally 10-12 and would buy medium or large but only needed a small at target as they were very generous and super stretchy (and black which is always more flattering).
