Hi all,

I'm after advice on what would you do in my situation. I have lost faith in my fertility nurse (at one location) but love my fertility specialist (at another location). I had an incident with my FN last Monday which for me is the last straw and I will not have her manage me again. I've made this clear to my FS who has said she'd escalate this to the head nurse at the FN's location and that the head nurse would contact me. That was Tuesday and I am still waiting for a call. I want to start another cycle after AF arrives which should be on the  21/08 so need to get the paperwork sorted and back to whoever they are going to reallocate me to.

Is a week a reasonable amount of time to be waiting for a call? Who should I be chasing now? The FS or the head nurse at the other location? Should I move the two frozen embryoes in storage at the FN's location and send them to the FS's location? This was originally suggested by my FS but she changed her mind knowing there's a risk to them having them transported? Their current location is closer to work which is why I asked to be managed there from day 1. My experience there has been fine except when I'm dealt with by this particular nurse and it seems like they've made her the primary contact since I was last there in 2013. Is moving the embryoes worth the risk?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated as my emotions are getting in the way of a rationale decision and I'm already having imaginary arguments with whoever I speak to on Monday

Ring the clinic head office and ask to speak with their Patient Experience Manager or Director of Nursing
