Hello parents,

I am a teacher in a SEN school and children's home. It's a private school and term time care facility.

I am highly interested to know what it is parents want from full time education and care for their children. If you are making this decision or have made it in the past or even if your just thinking about it, I really want to know. I realise it must be the hardest decision to make - to know where your child can be best received, striving for a place or group of people that can teach and care for them in a way that is enriching and positively beneficial to their life. It must be one of the toughest decisions a parent can have to make!

So I am profusely intrigued to know, what do you REALLY want from school and care services, what do you want for your child? What do you need to make you feel secure and comfortable? I hope that knowing these things will help me better understand my own students, so please be as honest and descriptive as you can.
