I would like to join a parent group which you meet up near Chatswood. Does anyone know any group that I can join? Or is anyone interested to form a group that we can catch up? I have two boys with age of 1 and 2.5 years old. I really want to give them an opportunity to meet and play with the other kids. Any replies will be appreciated!

I live in Ryde, does that count? We go to a playgroup on Mondays in West Ryde.

West Ryde is not far from us but I work on Monday. Do you guys organise anything on Friday or Thursday such as meeting in a park or centre etc?

Have you tried the North sydney community centre playgroup? That's Monday-Thursday and the Crows Nest Tafe runs a great playgroup every day of the week if I recall. My kids are a bit older now, but we enjoyed both of those for variety of activities which were both really awesome. But they are big so it depends on what you are looking for. it can take quite a while to get to know the other parents  although plenty would be there regularly, we used to drop in occasionally if we were free
