We're in a rental at the moment and I have to say, this house was a big mistake. Apart from the fact it's a complete dive, it just seems to have a really negative energy about it. We got it because it was cheap and we needed somewhere for DH to live in a hurry.

As far as I know, the previous tenants were here for 15 odd years so there's nothing fishy about that. I don't think there's anything spirit wise here but it just seems an unhappy place.

I was thinking of burning some white sage. Is there anything else I need to do?

When I move to a new place I normally open all the doors and windows, use a smudge stick and when have finished clean everything obsessively.

Maybe try live plants and a goldfish as well. Seems to help lift the energy (just try not to let them die!)

Check out the Feng shui if you've got time, make sure you don't have your vacuum cleaner in the "happiness corner" kind of thing!
