I am such a rule follower that I am feeling guilty about being halfway through a book and counting it into next year.

Ha ha. I'm also halfway through a book but I have no qualms in counting it next year. I don't count rereads though. Don't know why.

#27 The Paper House by Anna Spargo-Ryan
#28 Her Last Breath by Linda Castillo

Well, my goal was 6. So, I whipped butt!

This has really got me back on track with reading and I'm so grateful! Now to decide on a number for next year. Probably somewhere between 6 & 28. I'm going to try to work on a few other goals this coming year (more time for hobbies and decluttering the house) so don't think I'll read as much. But, you never know.

Thanks for all the recommendations over the year everyone! My 'want to read' list is huge and still growing!

Happy New Year to all!

Was tempted to add this to the 2017 tally but since I only had 3 pages to read this morning it felt like cheating. 19 books read, only one short of my goal.

I will not be adding up the total number of books bought because of this thread ;)
