I'm in the process of investigations into setting up my own online business. The trouble is social media- I'm reasonably computer literate but I don't use social media beyond liking a few baby/ dog pics on Facebook. Does anyone have any advice on where and how to start? How do I get myself educated in this?

I'd do an online course. There's a lot to learn.

Hi Muffintop, I started an online business thinking curating online content for Facebook and Instagram would be a part of the job that I'd like; and I don't. Finding and / or making content is very time consuming and it's very difficult to get results that are encouraging.
I should also be blogging apparently but haven't started as I find the Fb and Insta accounts are hard enough to keep on top of.
If there isn't much outlay to start the business, I say good luck! If however like me you'd be getting a business loan to buy stock and pay for a website I'd say tread very very carefully.
I'm happy to chat if you'd like to PM me with any questions.
I'm a practising lawyer by profession and thought I'd been cautious enough in my risk analysis!
