I'm due late March / Very Early April and my friends have been asking about my shower (already).  I'm struggling to decide on a date/time frame for when it might be held.  I feel February is far too late.  December/January is super close to Christmas/NY.  I'm leaning towards late November/Early December.  Is that too soon?  I'll be 5 months.

Most baby showers I've attended, the mother-to-be has been in her third trimester.

I was 35 weeks for mine. Probably would have aimed for a touch sooner but it clashed with too many other important events that year to do that.

Personally, if I were you, I'd be aiming for early Feb (so when you'll be around 32-ish weeks). Late Jan at the earliest.

I'd probably do late Jan.
Keep in mind that people are often quite busy late Nov/early Dec as there are a lot of parties happening towards the end of the year too.

The baby showers I have attended (including my own) were held when the mother to be was in her third trimester.  I would aim for around early Feb, which sounds like around 8 weeks before you are due.   Personally I don't think that is too late at all.

I think I was 37 weeks at mine! I didn't organise it though, I thought someone else usually throws the baby shower? In my case it was DS' godmother to be  (it was her baby present to me)

Same.

A friend offered to host one for me at her place.
