Hi All

I'm 12 weeks postpartum with my second child and have been getting dizzyness and nystagmus (involuntary eye movements) from about 6wk pp. I am exclusively breastfeeding. My menstrual cycle returned at about 7wks pp. The dizzyness seems to coincide about a week or so before my cycle begins and tapers off a week later, returning again with the next cycle (I've already had 3 cycles!).

I've had an MRI and all was clear. My GP seems to think that it could be due to lack of sleep or anxiety. After the clear MRI, she's referred me to a vestibular neurologist.

Blood tests for iron, thyroid etc have been fine.

Has anyone had anything similar happen and know what it could be?

I had an inner ear infection two weeks pp.   I was really dizzy and unsteady on my feet (felt like I was drunk)  and no temp.   A course of antibiotics did the trick
