Hi everyone!

I'm very, very cautiously joining, probably due in early Sept. I had a mc in late November (first pregnancy) and am now very unexpectedly pregnant again without a cycle in between (doctor not very amused as it makes it harder to date, apparently). I have a dating scan next week and everything's crossed it will be okay.

Hi,

I'm in, due 13th September however my last baby was born at 31 weeks. I am hoping I can get further than that otherwise I will be freaking you all out in July.

A bit shocked as I thought I was done and I am almost 41. This will be baby number 3.

Good luck everyone. Enjoy the ride.

Hi everybody!
I'm tentevly joining although early days yet! I'm estimating I'm due on the 20th of September and have a little boy (born on the 22nd of September so hopefully no double up on birthdays!!😬)
Congrats to all the first time mummas and those already with kiddies! Interesting to see how I handle a newborn and a toddler 😳

Hello again..

Just wanted to moan about the headaches and the heartburn.. Eno seems to be working.

AF hasn't turned up, so that confirms the test result. I moved the doctors appointment to next week. After chatting with husband, we decided there was no need to rush. We both know that I'm pregnant. I have another pregnancy test which I'll use probably next week to confirm the result from Thursday.

I'm tired and randomly hungry so I'm staying eating my normal food and introduced an extra piece of fruit to eat at Uni, where I'm doing summer classes so trying to stay awake in class is a bit of a challenge. Thank goodness there's no exams.

I've only told 1 person who's one of my close uni friends - we're car pooling and in the same class. If something goes wrong, I have someone who can help me who is close by as opposed to calling husband who's a contractor from his work and me needing to wait for a pick up if I'm miscarrying and need medical attention.

I'm loathe to be excited, odds are not in my favour given my vintage.

Sorry about your MC.. are you ok with being pregnant so quickly after?

I had an MC 2 yrs ago, decided to look after my health first and heal, now pregnant after our first try without birth control.

I will cross fingers and toes for you :-)

Thanks Rettles. Congrats to you!

I'm okay actually, if a bit nervous. My mc was at 5.5 weeks so very very early. I think it would be very different if it had been later. I'm sorry to hear about yours and wishing you a smooth journey this time.

Hi everyone, just saying hello but not wanting to get too excited just yet. Had a faint BFP earlier in the week and a positive blood test yesterday. Am somewhere between 4 and 5 weeks (due late September). This will be baby 2 for us, our DS just turned 3.

Hoping for sticky bubbas all around :)

Hi ladies! Welcome newbies! I'm finally almost home from my holiday and off for my dating scan Monday. Is it usual for your other half to come along to this one?

My spotting seems to have finally settled down, yay. Also I had to go bra shopping while I was away, the last bras I bought not long ago were an A cup, and hello for the first time in my life I have boobs and bought a C and a D cup, crazy! DH won't know what to do with them haha...

Hi Lefloof, congrats! for my first pregnancy my partner came to all the scans including dating scan. It was exciting for him to hear the heartbeat :)

This time around I'm not having a dating scan because I have tracked my period more accurately. I wish I did have an early scan though rather than having to wait until 12 weeks!

Hi ladies!
I'm very cautiously joining the group too. I got a very faint line on Wednesday, and since the test have slowly been getting darker. The clear blue digi had me at 1-2 weeks yesterday, so very early days!
This will be Baby number 2 for us (DD is 2 next week!) and if all goes well, I'll be due on the 23 September!
I have a Drs appointment tomorrow to confirm the pregnancy (blood tests), as I had a few CP's before falling pregnant with DD and I want to know that this one is progressing. I 'feel' pregnant, but know that it's still very early days. Fingers crossed!

Congratulations to everyone here on your BFP!! Hoping I get to know you all better! Xx

Congrats Mrs Bay and welcome.

Had my dating scan this morning. I'm 6w5d, which is only one day behind my own estimation. Little heart beating and all looking as it should! As my cycles are longer then usual they expected me to be further along, but were happy when it was around what I expected from knowing when I ovulated. So that's exciting! Also relieved not twins haha...
So I have a due date of September 6! How did you go Sugar Girl?

Congrats everyone!

I have a dating scan this Friday so fingers crossed everything's okay. I had a second lot of bloods done today after some spotting yesterday, so will hopefully find out how my levels are this afternoon.

Hoping for sticky beans for everyone!

Hi Everyone,

Have been meaning to get in and write in here but didn't want to jump the gun like I did last time.

Excitedly nervous to be in this group and sounds like a lovely group of people to have as support or this journey, looking forward to learning more about everyone.

We are currently pregnant with #2 after 2 year of absolute no questions about it we will only have one child, we went to a specialist in June and were told that it was completely possible to have a full term healthy baby ... and then slowly our minds changed, another little baby! a brother or sister for our gorgeous DD, so after an early chemical pregnancy in November we are here with a positive blood test and awaiting a dating scan on Friday to confirm due date which I have as 12th September.

Our DD was born 3 months early due to me becoming severely ill with pre ecclampsia, we are now both healthy and scared out of our brains and praying upon praying for a full term healthy pregnancy.

I wish everyone a very happy healthy 9 month pregnancy.

Anyone believe in the old wives tale over 155bpm is a girl and under a boy??

I haven't heard that one, but I did read an article today that said high systolic BP may increase the likelihood of having a boy.

http://www.iflscienc...-of-their-baby/

I did another pregnancy test today - used clear blue last week and did a first response today since my AF is 4 days overdue. Got double pink lines, definitely not faint!

My weight has fluctuated +/- 1.5kg this week. So I'm hopeful that I'll keep healthy and my weight normal if I am lucky. I'd like to not gain weight.

I've been avoiding those scales! I'm definitely a few kg heavier but my clothes still fit and I'm feeling good, been walking heaps. Back to work after holidays so will start going back to the gym and see how I go! ☺

Re heart rates and sex, I have no idea! We had our first "will we find out the sex" chat yesterday. Neither of us are sure, I see benefits to both. Even if we find out, I'd rather keep it to ourselves, not really keen on gender stereotyping and the thought of getting given lots of blue or pink stuff.

I hear you about being scared Mcc1985. I am absolutely terrified of having to go through a premmie birth again.

How blessed we are to come out the other side with a healthy baby though.

All the best for this time around. Each pregnancy is different and you deserve an uneventful one this time.

Hi everyone, I am cautiously joining this group :). Got an unexpected bfp yesterday on my second day of missed period, when I'm generally as regular as clockwork.

This will be pregnancy number 6 with only 2 live children so I'm trying to play it very cool for now. I had a partial molar pregnancy last October so I wasn't even supposed to try again until April, but one silly single night seems to have put paid to that 😣. We were even talking about stopping with the 2 we already have so it's thrown us for a bit of a loop!
