HI all,

I cannot get a straight answer out of centrelink (three different answers) so thought i'd ask here as well.

My son has just turned 6 so I now have to report my earnings as I am a single parent on SPP.

I am self employed and make a variable amount.  The first lady I spoke to said I need to declare it as "zero" amount each time because it is not employer income and then they will just continue to go off my last tax return until the next one is due.

She also said I do not need to provide a P&L quarterly as I have been in biz longer than 12 months.

Yet another one said the opposite and then said "I don't think that's right" about declaring zero earnings.

Does anyone have any ideas???

Yeah they already have my last tax return so are basing my SPP amount etc on that, which is fine.

So it seems the second and third person I talked to had no idea as they seemed to think I should report my actual income each fortnight!
