hows everyone going these days?
my hormones have been up and down and the nausea's still around (though not nearly as bad as it was)
my DH has been a dream trying to comfort me every time i dissolve into hysterics just because the cat wouldn't cuddle with me, or when my sister told me my new chocolate pie recipe wasn't as good as the last one (that's after i asked for her opinion, and she was mortified by my reaction, just so no one thinks she was being mean lol)
we've decided on the name Emily for our daughter. i didn't want to tell everyone because i was worried she might come out and not look like an Emily but he thought that sounded like such a hippy concern and started referring to my bump as Emily all the time so family and friends picked up on it. a boy name would always have been set in stone anyway because every male on his side has the same name and we both like tradition so were happy to keep it going.
i don't really mind everyone knowing hr name now, it's been the name i wanted for a daughter since i was 15, and i can always give her a nickname if i really feel that Emily doesn't suit.
i can feel her moving now, but if i'm being honest its not very comfortable when she does. it feels like a large air bubble growing and then popping, but i tend to feel a bit indigestion-y whenever shes active so its hard to enjoy. DH is hanging out until he can feel her, for the time being he likes to rest his head on my stomach when i'm lying still and listen to her. our gp told us there's a swishing sound similar to what you can hear yourself after drinking a lot of water that partners can hear if they're lucky, its the amniotic fluid moving around as she moves.
i'm getting slower at work (a service station) but my boss is being pretty relaxed and has let m sit on a stool while i'm behind the counter. its against company policy for staff to sit but she talked to the area managers and they said its fine for the next couple of months. i do get quite tired from just a 5 hour shift though, and i'm constantly snacking behind the counter (and at home)

hope everyone else is well!

Hi there everyone, long time no posting. I'm 31 weeks now, it's flying by. Baby moves like a maniac all day, she is going to be a nutter judging by how active she is. Or maybe it's because I have zero abdominal muscles this time around to contain her. Counting down the remaining work days, have finally painted the walls in her room. Will hopefully book in for my c section date at my 34 week appointment. It's really getting to the business end now!

6 weeks to go!  For me at least, those of you due at the start of sept are even closer!
It's my last shift at work tonight and I just can't wait. I've had sij/pgp for the last 2 months and while I have a support belt that helps it also makes it impossible to sit without feeling like I'm squeezing myself in half haha.
How is everyone's nursery going? Anyone experiencing this 'nesting energy' I've heard so much about? All I want to do is sleep these days lol

Hi everyone, we're at the business end now aren't we and I'm sure some of us have popped already. I'm booked in for my c section next Monday - glad I made that decision weeks ago because the ob discovered last week that bubs is now breech so I'd most likely have to have a ceaser anyway. I didn't think I had the nesting thing until I found myself cleaning the cutlery drawer the other day. .. Have packed hospital bag mostly a 's have worded up DS about what's happening by making him a count down calendar complete with pics, I think he gets it!
