So here I am again almost 4 yrs from my last post in here, to share Miss Es birth story. At 41 wks it looked as if nothing was going to happen, my amazing  middy performed a sweep to push things along, well can you believe it at 315 am on the 3rd of Feb my waters broke while I was lying in bed. We headed to the hospital to check then headed back home. After cleaning my entire house to hurry things up my contractions became regular around 6pm on the 4th, they progressed as expected and we headed to hospital at 130 am, I was checked and had only gone a cm, this was gonna be another long one. I headed to the birthing sweet and again it progressively got worse. At about 9am myiddy checked again as my contractions were getting worse but nothing else was following as it should, At 8 cm my contractions were like they should be at 10cm, after checking it became apparent that I still had a thin layer of membrane preventing babyoving any further down, so she broke the remaining membrane and an 1hr 45min later baby arrived looking very blue with cord around her neck, hubby cut the cord and she was whisked away. Thankfully 5 mins later we heard a little cry and knew that all was OK. Miss E arrived at 1045 am on the 5th Feb after a hard 21hr labour happy and healthy of not for the slow start.
