Customer service/leadership course recommendations for employee

I trust the advice here a lot more than random Googling, so I thought I'd ask for some recommendations.
I have a fantastic employee who is very good at her job, very hardworking but lacks confidence and sometimes is unable to be assertive (customer service role) because of this.
in 3-6 months, due to more senior staff departures, she will be stepping into a more senior role. I trust her completely to do the job well, however feel she would benefit greatly from some actual training in customer service/assertiveness and or leadership.
Does anyone have any suggestions for short courses they might have done, or had employees complete, that were good?
Looking for anything that involves actual scenario/role playing rather than just lots of theory.
