Ah I feel for you. I struggle with this from time to time and it's truly awful. I take a half a tablet of restavit from time to time and it always works for me. Phenergan did not work for me. I try not to take anything though for fear of being addicted but psychologically, knowing I have the pills in my cupboard usually helps the sleep itself.

I hadn't heard of restavit other than being prescribed for people sometimes for morning sickness. I will investigate this. Nothing ( I.e the phenergan, restavit, temazepam, valium seems to be appropriate for long term use which is defined only as a few weeks so I'm not sure what I will do when my few weeks is up.

Hopefully by that time your body-clock will have reset itself and you will be sleeping better anyway, without it.
