Wow there is a few of us now 😊 Sorry to hear so many of us have had a rocky journey. It totally sucks and is incredibly sad.
This is my 6th pregnancy and I have 2 children so I have all my fingers and toes crossed that everything will be ok.
It's hard to let yourself get excited in the early months and it's also hard to stop the worrying.

Positive thoughts that we all have a very boring 8 months ahead of us!!!

We sure have had a lot of losses in this group. It was bad enough having an ovarian cyst rupture a couple months ago!!

Damielle my friend has the same problem. Had 4 MC and then first go of using progesterone it worked and now has 4yo twins!!

Sorry to hear that you have had a hard time Nezzy, I have everything crossed for you.
When is everyone getting bloods done and booking into hospitals? I'm only 4 weeks, so thought I might go to GP next week and book in to the hospital (going public) after that?

I'm only 4 weeks too and I'll book a Dr appointment next week. I'll be calling the hospital to book in soon after as I want midwife group practice which books out very quickly. I dropped my top level PHI last year (I birthed privately last time) because we have a brand new public hospital with state of the art birthing facilities and single rooms. I'm excited to be going public this time around. I also work at the same hospital so I trust the Drs and Nurses and I am close to one of the Obstetric Drs.

Is 4.5 weeks too soon? I'm going to the GP tomorrow, only because she does alternate Wednesdays and I was expecting to have to wait til next week. I had a tiny bit of spotting today which freaked me out but it calmed down pretty quick so fingers crossed it's all good.

I'm waiting til my dating scan (at 6w3d) to book in to hospital. I booked the scan today. I emailed both my specialists the day I got the BFP as per both their instructions, but not seeing either of them yet- they've both left me with instructions that the GP is carrying out. I had bloods done over the weekend and no phone call today is a good thing I assume! It's been suggested I have a second round before the dating scan to ensure HCG is actually increasing.

Also, speaking of- where is everyone located? I'm in Sydney and will likely book into Prince of Wales.

I'm on the Sunshine Coast 😊 Any other Qlders?

I did another HPT today hoping it would be darker but if anything it was slightly lighter. We were going to tell my DD today but we might wait a few more days. I'm still getting lots of cramping as though AF will show up anytime. Trying not to get disheartened.

I'm from SA.

9yearslater it's so hard not knowing isn't it. It took me a few days of testing to feel more secure. Day 2 looked lighter but finally reached 4wks and it was as dark as the control line finally. Hopefully yours gets darker over the next few days

Hopefully I will be joining you all. Second round of IVF and my first ever double line. It's still not dark but 4 days in a row so hoping this sticks. Still early days.

Oh dear 9yearslater

Maybe give it a couple of days and POAS again
Fingers and toes crossed

4 weeks & 3 days as of today. Got my blood test results back yesterday to confirm pregnancy and to check everything was okay. My hcg levels were 100 on friday so that is positive. Hopefully my levels have risen by the right amount for my next blood test this week or next 😁 yay!

I'm 12-13 DPO. Did another test because I don't think my FMU is the best for me (and I'm addicted to POAS clearly!) and it came up darker than first thing this morning but not as dark as yesterday. I will wait till Saturday morning now. AF would have been due tomorrow.

I'm trying to remain calm as I know the cramping can be normal.

Hi everyone,
I believe I might be due in February too. This is my first pregnancy after 1year and 7months of trying. Went the ivf route and got my beautiful bfp.
Does anyone else have worries about the next 12 weeks? I'm doing my head in with google and I know I need to stop! I'm praying it all goes well.

Thanks to those wishing me well. I really hope this little bub is tough and a survivor.

For the ladies peeing on sticks and scrutinising those lines and feeling they might be getting lighter....I know how that feels and it sucks. I really hope those lines darken up beautifully in the coming days. I have everything crossed for you.

I have an ultrasound next Tuesday. Hoping to see a heartbeat then. That might actually allow me to be optimistic. I'm also going to ask which side the placenta is on so I can take a guess at gender based on the Ramzi theory. It's supposed to be really accurate and can tell gender from the first scan!

Roxy those are very normal feelings even for us experienced mums. This is my 3rd and I just want the first trimester over with.

Nezzy I've never heard of the ramzi theory before. I've had two anterior placentas but I'm assuming you mean left or right side of the uterus?

Congrats! And yes I empathise. I told the GP I just want to get to a viable pregnancy and he rolled his eyes and said dear, you'll never stop worrying about milestones from now on... it won't matter if they're 14 months or 14 years or 35. May as well get used to it!

Hahaha.

Haha that's a good one Hackany! It sounds so bloody true. Just want to be able to get to the Ultrasound already and make sure all is well.

Hi all, I'm due 1st Feb (6 weeks tomorrow) with baby #2. I have a daughter who will turn 2 next month, so 2.5 years between them. Proper morning sickness has kicked in the last few days - blurgh!

I saw my GP today (4w5d) and got bloods done. I'm having a follow up hcg test on Friday just to make sure it's rising given I've had a tiny bit of spotting and then booked the dating scan for 6w6d.

The dr was very reassuring so I feel heaps better now but I think seeing the ultrasound will also help! So hard not to be nervous at this stage.

I have some epic bloating going on already, but I think it's too soon for stretchy waist pants lol

I think I need to prepare for a chemical pregnancy πŸ˜• FRER as faint as yesterday and feel like my period will be here today (due today). I'm trying to stay positive because I know that nothing is certain until AF arrives but I also have to be realistic. I told my DH about chemical pregnancies this morning and he's bummed. He was so excited. At least we know we CAN get pregnant.

I'll update either way but I think I'll step out until I know for sure. Good luck to you all xx

Hi all!

Tentatively joining in here after getting my BFP this morning.

I'm 36, DH is 35, and we have a daughter who will be 3 in Sept.
We've been TTC for 7 months, and actually went to see a FS 2 weeks ago - he did an ultrasound and pointed out that a follicle was there and "raring to go", so looks like it was a lucky one for us!

EDD is 17th Feb - 2 days before my birthday.

Fingers crossed for sticky ones for everyone.
9 years later - I'm crossing all my fingers for you hon.
