We have been trying to have a child for more than three years. Early on we were lucky enough to find out that my husband has a genetic condition which means he cannot produce any viable sperm.
My husband and I went ahead with IVF, which initially involved donor sperm selection and egg collection, and around one year after deciding to start trying for a baby we had two embryos, from 11 eggs, to transfer. This was our first negative result. Since then we have had in total around 13 cycles of egg collection, around 6 embryo transfers, and one successful embryo transfer that resulted in miscarriage.
Our specialist has told us that it is very likely that there are issues with my egg quality but cannot provide the reason why. We have tried so many different drugs, sperm donors, and have had many unsuccessful rounds, and have been advised to seek an egg donor.
We are desperately hoping there is a kind soul out there who will donate their eggs to us to hopefully assist us with our want for a child. If you are under 35, have completed your family and would be willing to consider donating your eggs we would appreciate hearing from you.
