Been thinking of you. Hopefully you've hade some constructive news today. Life can be totally suck bollocks at times.

thanks all, an update.

It seems it is a reoccurrence of the original cancer and has obviously been there since the "rash" first appeared about 10 years ago. Given the type of breast cancer originally the whole thing is quite odd.

The hope is that it is only 'superficial', have a bone scan and CT tomorrow to confirm that, then opn on Monday to remove it. After all that a decision will be made whether further treatment - radio is required.

Appreciate the update - have been thinking of you.

Hope you get the best results possible from the scans, and that Monday's surgery is straighforward and successful.

Best of luck JRA. I'll be focusing on a simple, positive outcome for you.

Thats really frightening knowing it is a recurrence and not something new. You must feel so confused and frustrated given youve asked for it to be looked at before. x

I’m so sorry you are having to deal with this, it must feel like a nightmare.  I have everything crossed for you that it does prove to be superficial and you have a quick and full recovery.

Hope the scans and treatment get all sorted out soon so you can know the plan of attack and get through it all quickly.
Sorry there wasn't better news.

Best wishes.

The news was actually good, it in affect was a re-occurence rather than metastasised of the original - if that makes sense.

And if it's been there all this time it cant be that aggressive?  I'm so glad it was relatively good news.

Wishing you all the best JRA. EB is a funny place at times, and over time, you get to pick up a real sense of some people. It seems stalkerish but somehow I remember some of your really old sigs and parts of your story.

Without having met you, I know you'll fight this with all that you've got.

I'm glad that you could get some direction so quickly. May today's tests bring news that this is something that the doctors can target quickly. Wishing you all the best.

Hi JRA I've had a user name change over the years but hope you still remember me, cervical cancer, hysterectomy, only 1 son.

You were a great help to me over the years and I am very sorry to read this update from you.

Wishing you all the best and thinking of you x
