We’re alnost scan buddies, I have my dating scan on the 2nd and my OB appointment on the 24th. The scan can’t come fast enough! Still no symptoms...
Hope your blood results come back quickly and they’ve risen nicely. I hate the waiting game of the first trimester!

I would of had the dating scan but because it's long weekend for Easter, they are not open. I just want the scan here so I know everything is going as it should be, I should be 6+4. I have some symptoms no ms yet thankfully, with DD I had it from 5 weeks to about 8 months.... I hope the tests come back quickly, I just want them now... I'm always impatient the first trimester, just wanting to know if everything is fine.

Feeling good today. Managed to bust out a work out this afternoon before the tiredness sets in.

I made an appointment for my early ultrasound at exactly 7 weeks.  Now I just have to wait. I lost my previous pregnancy at 7 weeks so I’m fairly anxious to see the little bean doing well.

I’m currently 4+3 but I’m wondering if perhaps I might’ve ovulated earlier than I thought as my hcg was 735 yesterday at supposedly 17 DPO.

Hoping to see a few more symptoms between now and my next scan as other than tiredness I’m not really seeing anything. Last pregnancy I felt completely normal which was a real warning sign for me but then with my son it was similar, very mild on the symptoms.

Hate hate hate the waiting game!

KatieTL, I hate the waiting game of the first trimester! I’m 5+3 today and if I hadn’t taken a test I wouldn’t know I’m pregnant. I’m still walking or running 6-8kms every day and even did 10 today. No cravings, no food aversions, no nausea, nothing! Ok ow I should count myself lucky but this is so different to my first pregnancy where I was living off potatoes for a few weeks and had terrible ms!

Rayrae how exciting to see that’s little heartbeat, it just makes it feel so much more real! 💗

Mimmy91 - That sucks. Being sick at work is horrible.

Tamika & Monna - fingers crossed for you both!

Rayrae - hello Perthian! KEMH is handy for me work wise, but I’m comfortable with my previous OB, I like the reassurance of seeing a scan each time I visit, I don’t know if high risk do that?

I have my dating scan on the 4th April. Fingers crossed there is something there, for all of us.

How exciting to see lots of scans coming up soon! Wishing you all the best of luck!

I’m a bit nervous as my symptoms have stopped suddenly. Trying not to stress as I know it’s not good for anyone but it’s hard.

Hope everyone is going well!

Good luck to those with scans coming up
We have been away since I found out so haven’t been to docs yet
Keep thinking af is going to show
I have a sore back but not sure if that’s more camping related!
Boobies are a little tender but otherwise feeling completely normal

Asil87, try not to stress, as Bonbonbaby said, you might just be having a good day or had more sleep, which in turn means less symptoms.

DrAe, how far along are you? Are you going to book in for a dating scan?

Runningruby 4 weeks according to pregnancy calculater
I am hoping to see doc tomorrow but we are heading away for Easter so guessing I'll have dating scan after Easter
We have only been ttc #3 since dec and surprisingly only bd twice this month so wasn't expecting a bfp!!

Fingers crossed DrAe you can get in to see the GP tomorrow! I think you might be right about the dating scan to be after Easter, I think the like to do them between 7-8 weeks.
We only sort of started ttc in February and only managed to bd once during my fertile period, so that bfp was quite a surprise 🙊

Thank you all for the positive thoughts :)

Still lacking on symptoms compared to earlier this week but I guess I just have to wait and see. No scan booked yet for me unfortunately.

Bonbonbaby, I can’t even imagine how stressed you must feel with two little ones in there! I hope your scan gives you some peace of mind xx

This discussion about bd or lack thereof makes me chuckle! We decided to start trying early Feb too and only got two chances so our bfp was a bit of a surprise also!

That’s great news Monna, congrats!

Quick question - did your cramps completely stop after 6 weeks? Still getting them on and off and am 6w1d. Very encouraging to know everything is going well for you after the cramps too, hopefully just part of the process.

DrAe and Jburns thanks :)

My cramps actually have come back again the past few days, although it's been more just like an ache in my pelvis and lower back. I remember with DD I had lower back pain for most of the first trimester so that helped me put my mind at ease.

Hi everyone,

Im joining in for the first time. I got my BFP after 15 months of trying and two weeks before our first fertility specialist appointment. Hubby and I were surprised and so excited! My estimated due date is 19 Nov.

Im hanging out for my dating scan. Its so great to start to read about others in the group getting to see heartbeats. Congratulations!!!

Weve decided not to tell anyone until after the scan. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to avoid alcohol without looking obvious? Designated driver doesnt work because people say, oh just have one.

My biggested symptom is sore boobs. Im off to the shops tomorrow to look for a new more comfy bra!

Congratulations mena87! How exciting!

I suppose it depends on what you normally drink but could you get an empty bottle and fill it up with water or apple juice? Or perhaps talk to the bartender about omitting the alcohol without making it obvious? Maybe hubs can take one for the team and secretly drink for you?

Yay Monna thanks exciting! I’m hoping to get a referral for a dating scan on Monday when I see my doc.

And I agree about it being funny that so many only dtd a couple times and boom are pregnant. I think we were lucky to do it 3 times that month, and we weren’t even trying as our little bean is a total surprise. 😂

Agree with this mena87! My cousin attended a wedding with her mum and husband, and she just kept getting them to drink them for her. 😂 And my other cousin, at a family wedding, walked around with the same drink most of the night. Just saying that she was onto a new one whenever she was asked. She told me this when she rang me to tell me she was pregnant as I was like “but you were drinking at the wedding?!”. Bahaha

Congratulations Mena87, sounds like you’ve had a bit of a journey, great to have you here now!! I’m also due on the 19th! Do you know when you’ll have your dating scan?

I found bonds maternity bras the most comfortable, no underwire yet still supportive and they’ve also got croptops that I started wearing during the night pretty early on in my first pregnancy as I found even at night I needed some support.
As for alcohol, I think unless it’s a sit-down dinner people don’t really notice as you can move around and just say „yep, new drink“. Or you could use something like a headache as an excuse and being the designated driver. I know it’s accepted that people have one or two while being the driver but maybe you could say you feel quite strongly about it and will have a sip but not a whole drink.
