I really didn’t mean offence by what I said. I’ve just experienced a lot of medical professionals, nurses and similar who treat giving formula like giving junk food. Or like you’re making them fat. My local public hospital is baby friendly but to such an extent that when DD was in there at 12 months for an illness on the paediatric ward - they said you’re breastfeeding right and when I said she was FF That was the end of it - there was no real assistance with preparing bottles or a suitable area - I had to go out and buy steralising bags etc and constantly be confronted by posters about how formula was a last resort.
Ideally it would be nice if society didn’t judge mothers for breastfeeding or formula feeding or both.
