Mama's of multiples or those that have had a vanishing twin, when did you see both babies with heartbeats? I had an internal ultrasound at 7w6d. Very clearly 2 sacks but only 1 baby was found and measured perfectly for dates. The other I could see tiny bits of white in the sack every now and then but no heart beat etc.

How likely is it that I have 2 viable babies? If not, when will the sack get reabsorbed?

Feeling very heart broken and looking for some similar stories or positive stories.

My follow up scan is booked for Monday at 9w6d. How likely is it that I will have 2 healthy babies in there?

At my seven week scan I had two heartbeats but one measuring smaller and slower heartbeat. At repeat scan two weeks later then second had no heartbeat. I’m not sure what the odds are but I was told low odds with the size difference.

The sac was visible at all my scans - never got reabsorbed.

Wishing you luck.
