So, any recommendations for a nice B&B or hotel for a romantic weekend away?

Are you looking for right in town? We had a nice place about 10 mins out. We did it as a family trip, but it could be nice for two.

Either or, focus of weekend will be wine, food, nature etc. sans kids.

This is where we stayed. Possibly too far out of town if you want to go out for dinner (esp. if you want a drink or 3), but quiet and comfortable. No dishwasher not the best with a family :(
