Well, I'm about 15 years behind the rest of the world but I am finally "reading" (actually listening to on audio) Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone. And I've got book 2 downloaded and ready to go.
Absolutely loving it. It's a very long way from my usual fare but it's transporting me into a whole other world.

I saw the first movie years ago and really enjoyed it but this was always my daughters thing. Se loved the books and she'd be at the bookshop on the day of release before they opened so she could get a copy right away. She can't believe it's taken me this long to get started.

Currently reading The Lost Man by Jane Harper. It hasn't gripped me as tightly as The Dry. It seems a bit long too! Only 2 days to finish my e book version before it expires and I'm not sure I'll make it.

I’ve just read The House on Dalhousie which I’m fairly sure was a recommendation on here.  But it was ages ago and based upon reading Finding Francesca.  Which I did but ages ago, loved it, put THOD on hold at the library and only just received it.  By which time I had totally forgotten they were intertwined and I didn’t immediately click.

My question is, are there any other books about the same group of friends that I should have read?

Anyone else read The Great Believers?  That was so interesting.

That was me!! Ok so the timeline order is
Saving Francesca
The pipers son
Then house on the Dalhousie.

My favourite is the pipers son.
I don’t thing she’s done anything else yet on the same group of friends, but I hope she does. I want more about Tara and Siobhan and Justine.

Just read on the jellicoe road. Took a long time to get into it but then I stayed up to 2am reading it.

Just finished working class boy by Jimmy Barnes and now reading working class man.
