#1 40+

Posted 03 October 2018 - 05:02 PM

In August I had a tubal reanastomosis. At my 6wk post op check my lovely Prof said he'd like me to start on 50mg Clomid next cycle, CD2-6 as I have no time to spare.

I was extremely fertile in my younger years, so actually helping my fertility is kind of strange! It's been 2 and a half years of getting to this point after a previous surgery to reattach my tubes broke down.

If you were 40+ when you took it, what was your Clomid experience? Side effects? Things nobody told you that you would have liked to have known? What time of day was the best time to take it?

The big Q... Did it work for you??

Anything else you think I should know?

(I have to have an u/s on CD12 to check follicle numbers, so that bit is covered).
