Hi,
Hoping the EB brains trust can please provide some guidance on the difference between furreal pets and live pets? Saw one in the shop yesterday and know my toddler would love one for Christmas! But now looking more closely seems there are a few to pick from a large price range!
Specifically looking for a pet dog that can walk and be a bit interactive.
This one looks to have all of the bells and whistles but is obviously $$!

Any ideas on the difference Between the 2 brands and if there are any cheap versions which are just as fun?

Thank you in advance!

DD has this cat

And also this one

For comparison, the FurReal one is definitely more interactive. However, it's essentially a robot with fur, so isn't cuddly and good for much more than a few games.

The Live Pets one isn't as interactive, it purrs and opens and closes its eyes, however the fur is softer and its cuddly, not as mechanical as the other one. The fur on this one has lasted better too, the FurReal is looking quite matted and hard (although it has had a good life!).

For us, the Live Pets was probably the preferred.

There are other models of dogs in the FurReal range that are still interactive but not as pricey, if that's the consideration. I'm not aware of a Live Pets version that is in the same league as that dog, I think theirs is more like the kitten version (but I haven't investigated dogs).

Thank you...
Do you know much about the Lil Big paws ones? If they can do much besides their trick? Not so keen on the ‘poopin’ One if the main thing promoted for it is that is poops ha!

Thanks again for your help :)

Don't know sorry, that's one we haven't got!

We do have a pooping one.....and that's pretty much all it does aside from a few sounds. The kids love it though, because, you know, poop.

Yet when I suggested they clean the real cats litter tray they wouldn't....go figure.
