Period question

In the last few months like a week before my period is due I have been getting a watery light period for a couple of days then it stops then in a week or so I get normal periods has anyone ever had this?

Could be ovulation bleeding. I don’t know much about it but apparently it’s a thing.

No harm in seeing a doctor.
My period has been changing since just before 40, and I now get a weird lead-up time of some very minimal bleeding for a few days before the flood. For the 20 or so years before that it used to come on really quickly, so it's new.

I had been experiencing something similar and went to my GP. I now take a zinc supplement and don’t have the issue anymore or if I do it’s much less.

Did you check with you GP? It may be ovulation, but also important to exclude rare, but nasty things like infections.
Midcycle and shorter periods are common after 35 due to hormonal changes.

No was just going to leave it. Maybe I should book in. Now I am worried.
