Also does anyone know if there are any programs for gifted and talented students in Brisbane? In NSW we have opportunity classes, not sure if there is anything similar in QLD

We are considering relocating to Brisbane and we would really appreciate if someone could share their opinion / experience of Wishart primary and Mansfield State High Schools (pros and cons would be great). Thanks

Wishart Primary doesn’t have a gifted and talented program or any formal extension programs. In that area you could look at Robertson State School and Holland Park State School, both have gifted and talented programs. All 3 schools are catchment controlled, so you need to be living in the catchment area to get in. You can join a “wait list” if you’re out of catchment but I don’t know if many families get in that way.
We haven’t hit High School yet. Mansfield has a good reputation, again catchment controlled, is quite a large school by Brisbane standards I believe. 0 user(s) are reading this topic0 members, 0 guests, 0 anonymous users |
