I had mine, he had his. We registered when it was free for the first 50 people, so no money lost.

If I’m meeting friends, I’ll text when I park telling them I’m there, I don’t get out of the car until I get “just parked/I’m here”.

For those saying ring .... our usual method of communication is text or messenger.

He has only ever phoned me twice before, once was a work issue, the second time he was driving around for 40 minutes at a festival trying to find a carpark.

I'm getting a bit annoyed now.

I would still ring! or go in myself and let him follow if he turns up

I'm home now, I didn't end up going in by myself as it was a small business Expo, and he has the business. I was just support/ and catching up.

That's usually what happens. But I got there half hour early and could see all the cars coming in the gate. Then I got confused, and thought I had missed him.

First time being stood up lol.

I’d absolutely ring after 10 mins. I’d assume they are driving- most of my mates (sorry, I use it regularly for both) have Bluetooth but can’t text back.

Sorry you got stood up!

Has he explained yet?

Whilst I get the text/message only relationship with some friends, I think it’s perfectly ok when you’re left waiting to break the pattern and call. Sorry that he left you hanging, I hope he is sincere in his apology, via text.

Not usually, he can be a bit self centred and is always extremely busy! But thought I would have heard something by now? Strange.

I reckon he forgot.

I thought so too, but wouldn't someone reply and say "gee, I'm so sorry, it slipped my mind. Can we catch up soon? Or something? Or is he too embarrassed and trying to think something up?

I think I wont hear from him anytime soon, I will end up messaging about a totally different matter and today won't be mentioned. :omg:

Oh and I received the email reminders yesterday about today, so he would have too!
