Hi there,

I have a question about fostering dogs.

If you foster a dog through a rescue and it attacks and damages your dog, is it reasonable to expect the rescue to contribute to vet fees?

Thank you.

The ones I have dealt  with do. Details should be in the contract you were given when you signed up, and the contract exchanged when you took on the foster dog.

Thank you!

This rescue have been fantastic. I just didn't know if it was a reasonable request or not.

It's been a very emotional and difficult 24 hours.

I can imagine! I’m glad it all worked out for you in the end.
