She’s been retired from breeding, and I’ve been offered her. Should I?  Am I crazy?

Did Gargoyle cat inherit his personality from her?

I think so. His father is a former Australian champion, and a very sweet natured boy. I’ve babysat his brother, who is a lapcat and very gentle.

You know you will.

:omg: Yep, crazy!

However, is there a chance she'll bring Gargoyle under control? A few clips around the ears from his mum might settle him down.

Perhaps a trial run for a few days to see if she fits in with the existing pets, with the agreement that you can give her back at any time?

Yes just so you can tell us about it! Is she a Bengal or is my memory going (more) bonkers. Does mum gargoyle like your son?!

Maine Coon I think. Some sort of cat breed that is large and dog-like.

Yep; Maine Coon. They’re supposed to be large and docile, but he didn’t read the job description.

Send them out hunting and they'll bring you one back. Maybe dead... Maybe alive....

She arrived an hour ago. Name is Heather, and she’s a light grey tabby. So far she’s just sniffing around the bathroom, while the puppies sniff the other side of the door.

We knew you would take her in.

Welcome to EB Heather

Ooh exciting. I can’t wait to hear some stories. I do think we need a pinned post called Kaboodles farm.
Maybe she will knock some sense into Gargoyle

Lol, her name is making me wonder if the movie Heathers had anything to do with her naming.

I’m very curious to find out how she settles in, and how Gargoyle reacts to having his mum living with him.

Another one here who knew you’d take her in.

I want a picture!!
I know maine coons are big, my sibirian is already the same size as a normal full grown normal cat. She's   only 8 months old!

Stalking for updates too.

Either it's all going fantastically and kadoodle is enjoying the relative harmony of the pets, or Heather and Gargoyle are holding them all hostage until they get a lamb roast each, the comfiest spot in front of the fireplace, and are allowed to have full run of the entire house and farm.

Number 15 is the winner for me - I’ve never seen a cat look THAT angry! 🤣
