Just trying to get a bit of a read on what’s average here.
DD is 19 months and loves talking. She has lots of words, babbles and sings constantly, and is starting to string two words together. She also copies words from us constantly.
But almost all of her words are missing the end sound or are not clear. She has Mummy, Daddy, bubble, Pa, up and a few others (including animal sounds). But other words are harder to make out unless you know her. So cat is ca, drink is trin, etc.
Just wondering if this is about right for her age or if her speech should be clearer at this age?

Thanks Fossy. I don’t have much to compare her to so it’s a bit of a guessing game!

Thanks Wonderstruck. Those resources are really helpful, particularly where they list the letters/sounds they should be able to make.

Yep, definitely normal
My almost 18 mo has a pretty limited vocab, it's mum/mumma, dad/daddy/daddy, ta, - variations of his older brothers names, hi/hello and lots of babble.
Other than that he is fabulous at pointing at exactly what he wants and then subsequently pointing specifically at whoever he expects to deliver whatever he initially pointed at hahaha
