Does anybody have a child with a severe (anaphylactic) allergy to egg who has had the flu vaccine this season?

If so, did they require additional monitoring?

(My understanding is that the flu vaccine contains a very small amount of egg protein but that it can still be given to those with egg allergy. One GP did not feel comfortable giving my 4 yo egg allergic DD the flu shot and referred her to have it at a hospital immunisation clinic, but there is a one month wait.)

Thank you.

Our allergy specialist advises all her egg allergy patients to have the vaccine. DD was allergic to egg and the GP was reluctant until I called her specialist for advice. (DD grew out of her egg allergy thankfully)

We have it done as usual at the GP clinic (3yo with ANA reaction to Egg)
We have to wait for half an hour afterwards and are monitored more closely but that's all.
