Has anyone watched this yet?

I need to debrief. I'm still processing and it's a few days since we finished. We did not manage to get through one episode without having to stop for a breather break it was just harrowing.

This was honestly one of the best but worst things I have watched for such a long time. My heart broke every second and I felt sick. Such an absolute travesty and a disgrace to the judicial system and every single person involved should be held accountable. Made me so so angry

Sorry OP, not yet. But it's on my 'to watch' list. Thanks for the warning! i don't think I'm in the right frame of mind to watch it at this stage. Will check back into this thread once I've watched it though.

Yes I watched it. It’s quite disgusting that they got away with putting innocent people in prison without any consequences.

It's definitely very very hard to watch. But a story they deserve to be told. I'm still reeling days later. It has opened up some great dialogue between myself and my husband though about injustice and how racial profiling etc also happens here on a daily basis too.

I don't think I can watch it.

We were living in NYC.although not in Manhattan, at the time and I can still remember the publicity, racism and hysteria.

I just finished watching it. Utterly harrowing and heartbreaking. But my goodness the production was well done.

It says a lot about these men that they have been able to establish stable lives after all they have gone through.

An utter disgrace on the police department, department of prosecutions and Donald Trump. It's utterly disgusting that this man is now president.

I watched it. I'd already watched Time:The Kalief Browder story on Netflix a while ago, which to me was even more harrowing. It makes you wonder how many more are suffering the same fate in their justice system.

Gosh, I hadn't heard of that. I just looked it up. Not sure that I can watch it!

I don’t think I can watch it either.  I would just get too angry.

I’m very glad it’s been made however.

I watched it. The last episode killed me. That poor Korey. Yeah, they got money after suing, but not much compared to the many years they lost.

I used to be very pro-death penalty. However, when I looked through a lot of cases, I realised how many convictions are a crock. I changed my stance completely the other way.

Honestly, all cops and prosecution staff who worked on the Central Park 5 should have been jailed. They were responsible for the injustice.

Right. Cause DNA was flawed. Or something.

That man...is a bobblehead.

I haven’t watched it but heard the interviews with the actors and the actual men. That was hard enough to listen to. Shows like this are so important and the consequences for the prosecutor have been wide but she still hasn’t apologised
