Can someone please help me with the income limit for what you can earn while on Newstart?

I've found the online table but it says that different limits apply if you receive FTB or RA or something that we receive. The scenario would be partnered, one child, FTB A and B, and RA.

I'm trying to avoid having to call Centrelink to find this out.

Thanks.

FTB A and B shouldn't affect the income limits as they are not income. I am pretty sure the limit is as per the table, as rent assistance is adjusted based upon how much rent you pay, not how much you earn. You are either eligible or not eligible for it.

Read the notes under the tables. Different limits apply if you or your partner receives RA.

Obviously FTB isn’t income.

This part:
This amount may change if they get Pharmaceutical Allowance or Rent Assistance.

doesn’t apply to you as he RA is paid with FTB not NSA.

His income will cut his NSA out at about $979 from memory but I’ll check the table and come back.
