Does she have the language skills to understand/answer if you ask her if she hurts? Or if the medicine before made her feel better? If she is in pain then I don’t think that is overuse.
You could try putting her to bed without, and if she can’t sleep or wakes frequently give her Panadol then?
But I am no expert as my three year old refuses all medicine most of the time, so I know she is really sick/hurt if willing to take Panadol. No danger of overuse here.
She answers any question about she feels with “I feel well” regardless of whether she is or not (ie. high temp, vomiting, diarrhoea etc) plus she loves panadol so she’s the worst when I’m not sure it’s shes well or not.
I’ve got laryngitis so calling anyone is out of the question!
I’ll put her to bed and see what happens, if she starts crying then I’ll give her something.
God what an awful week, I’m close to the end of my patience, husband away, I feel like absolute crap and could just cry and not stop! To top it off I’ve pulled a muscle in my back as she refused to let me put her down today. Sorry for the whinge, feeling awful.
