We love Halls Gap Zoo, great for kids and they have adjoining accommodation.

Just take plenty of clothes if you do a farmstay. The kids absolutely reek once they've been around the animals for a bit.

We stayed just out of torquay using mums timeshare and there was a farm and you could feed the animals every couple of days. So many different animals, it was really fun! Ds would have been happy if we never left the accommodation!
I cant remember the place and I dont know if they do accommodation other than timeshare, but it's near the great ocean road chocolaterie so shouldn't be too hard to find on Google maps?
