I have just resettled DD without feeding her. I didn’t time it or anything but I think it took about 15 mins. Her crying woke DS (6yo) who is now in our bed :( The world does not want me to sleep.

That is one of the hardest parts, disturbing the whole household. I don’t mind the crying, she is my third child, i get that babies are ok if they cry but my DS’s are not great sleepers. I hate messing with everyone sleep! But I also know it is short term pain for long term gain.

I’m hoping she lasts at least 1.5 hours before waking again.

Oh, you poor thing!! Everything is so hard without sleep, and it is such a vicious cycle. A night nurse and a weekend away for the bigger kids with family might be another way to approach it? Someone to support you, and without having to worry about the kids. Still cheaper than adding baby to PHI!

Another Masada success story here.

I took my then 16 month old..

I only had to pay the $500 excess with my PHI.

It saved our lives.

She will be 6 in 2 weeks and since leaving Masada has slept right through the night..

I could not recommend this place highly enough. Back then the rooms were great, the food was delicious... There is also a fantastic park nearby to walk to.
