Pregnyl and BFP, but too early to tell?

Hi all,
I'm TTC with Clomid. Ovulated 19/8. Had 1500 Pregnyl on 23/8 & 28/8 (so last one was last Wednesday).
I'm due a period today but no period and no signs of period either. I have a very definite BFP yesterday and today but not sure how much to trust it?
Last cycle I had a BFP with same protocol day before period but line was very faint, this cycle line is clear/strong.
Bloods on Wednesday - I know I should have resisted the urge to test but I don't have that strength 😂

oh hugs! If your period is due, in theory yes, the pregnyl should have left the system if you're not pregnant.

IMO? call the FS office and request bloods for tomorrow, they are unlikely to refuse. However, Wednesday is only a day and half away and in the scheme of things, it won't make a difference.

I think a tentative congrats is in order! :yay:

Thanks Caribou! My FS definitely won't budge on an early test unfortunately. And it's a 24 hour wait for results as we live rurally as well 😭
Oh well. It's only 2 days to get results. And I guess if I get my period in that time then I have my answer 🤷
I'm glad it seems there's a chance this is legitimate and not just the Pregnyl! It's so hard when you can't figure out if it's real or not

I was told it can take 7 days to get out of your system but if you’re getting nice strong lines at this stage I’d be optimistic!

1500 was always out of my system after 3-4 days. I'd be feeling pretty confident right now. Congrats!

Thanks so much Froyo & Rosie :)
Still don't feel like I can truly celebrate yet but my partner and I are starting to feel more optimistic, especially as my period still hasn't shown up!

I'm super excited to say bloods yesterday confirmed I'm definitely pregnant! hCG is 466! Fingers crossed all goes well, I'm very nervous :)
