My DD is 9,  she loves to cook.

I’d love to get her some of her own knives or a gift pack with measuring spoons/cups and other cooking equipment.  Kid themed is good,  but has to be functional.

Anyone have any recommendations?

Ds was never into the kid versions he just want to to use the normal ones.

Victoria's basement may help either way though

How lovely - I would definitely just be looking for good kitchenware and steer clear of anything that was themed towards kids - ways to make money and heartbreak there!

I don't know if these are too young for your daughter, but I really wanted to buy a proper knife for my 3 year old. I've seen these recommended a few times and the knife is apparently really good!

Ours was given a set of Scanpan knives at around that age & loved them - proper knives but bright colours. It's a few years ago so I don't know if that range is still available but there would probably be something similar.
