My son is in scouts in one of the trial groups for the new scouting system.

But his group does not see, to have any information on the new badges and they mentioned looking online for it - i have tried everything but I can't find anything about it

He wants to the science/stem one to begin with then see what others

He was never given a 'green book' as we are now under the new system but they don't have anything for the new system!

thanks

I have no idea either. The NSW site still has the old award scheme up. The Australia site has the ideals of the new program, but I couldn't find anything about the award scheme.

Thanks for trying - at least I know I am not going mad!

Does he have the new books?  Mine received two new books - Outdoor Adventure Skills, and Record Book.  Perhaps the information is in there (I haven't read them).

We have 2 different outdoor adventure ones but no record book

I don't mind printing one if there is a version online

I think you need the new Record book but I can only see the old green one on-line.  We received our books only 2 weeks ago so perhaps you will get one soon.

Our Scout group was one of the first to take up the new system. For us, it's all managed by a website called Pioneer Tracker - no paper records, no green book. For every badge/award, there is detailed information for what's required to achieve that award. The great thing is that if the kids do something as a group, if they are marked as attending that night (or a camp or whatever), any progress towards a badge or award is automatically added to the tracker.

We have only just started using the Pioneer Tracker so that's about all the information I have at the moment. But if you google "Pioneer Tracker" there are links on the Scouts Australia website to sign up.
