What do you think is a good price to pay for a one way ticket with qantas (& co) from Budapest/Vienna to Melbourne?

Current early bird sale is $2499 pp one way premium economy.

Hoping to use FF points to fly over Melbourne to Amsterdam

You can get return Premium Economy with China Eastern for less than that at the moment...

That is $5k Rtn. You could get a business return for that.

We are going in Dec and paid 3.5k rtn with China Airlines (PE over, business back).

We went to Spain last year on Cathay and paid $2.8k rtn.

Thanks for the information 😊 the return flights will be listed in a month and I will watch for specials on those airlines back from Budapest or Vienna

I'd look at Vietnam airlines, they often have great prices on PE to Europe.

Yeah, I paid $5k for business class return Syd-Copenhagen with SAS (who code-share with Singapore Airlines, so we will be on Singapore planes).

I think one way is always going to be far more than half the price of return.

I got my business class airfares to Amsterdam with eastern China airlines as classic qantas rewards seats.

Thanks for tips. I will start watching the other airlines for early bird flight specials

using skyscanner Lufthansa + Singapore Airlines have one way premium economy flights for around $1600. They are two stops.

Or $1800 with Singapore airlines.

What time of year are you travelling?
