How to Block a Member

I have heard others talking a about blocking someone, please tell me how I do this?

You have to go into my settings then ignore preferences then write the username in.

But you should know it’s not like block like FB. They can still see what you post and quote it. You can still see they have posted but have to open it up to read. If anyone quotes them, you can see it.

I think you have to be on the computer platform, not mobile to do.

Oh that is a shame that it would still be there but I think I can resist opening the hidden text given how much it upsets me.
