Hey mums

We are planning to re-do our our backyard and wanted to try planning it out by doing a rough sketch before engaging landscapers. Has anyone used any tool or an app which sort of helps do the layout and bit of planning ?

Also anyone has any recommended person/business who can help us with the landscape work (and reasonably priced) in Sydney (north shore) ?

Thanks !

draw.io is a free diagramming program that I use for all kinds of things.  Flowcharts, UML diagrams, floor plans etc.

It's worth checking out, it may suit your needs.

SketchUp is what I used, albeit a few years ago now. My sister, a drafter, recommended it.

However, when I got to hiring a landscaper, she just sketched it with pen and paper, and did a brilliant job. Probably depends a bit on size of garden though, she may have looked at our small space and decided she didn't need any more than that.
