I see this house perched up on the hill every day when I drive home.  I see it from a distance.  It looks see through.

So one day I went for a drive up there and saw it.  The glass.  OMG the glass.  It's so beautiful.

Today, I had a look just randomly on allhomes to see if it was for sale.

It is.

And it's beautiful.

I don't care too much about the rest of the house, it's inoffensive.  But the big glass room with views out both sides that will never be built out.  I could totally live there forever.

Someone please buy it for me.  I promise to like all of your posts forever if you buy it for me.

Did I mention the glass?

Thanks in advance.

"By negotiation"

That's code for "virtually giving it away", isn't it?

;-)

Wouldn't that be really hot in a canberra summer? or maybe its angled the right way or something.

I'll deal with it.  The cross breeze would be amazing up there on all but the stillest of days.

Oh it's heaven! That natural light is phenomenal

Unless the glass was all double glazing- too hard to keep both warm in winter and cool in summer. I regret doing too many single glazed windows in our back living area extension.Could easily cut the number of windows and still be happy with the outcome

It IS double glazed.

My two favourite things in a house are windows and distant views.  Everything else is way down the list.

The window cleaner that I would pay to clean it all.

I like your second one Xena.  If only it had views like mine.

I notice a distinct lack of boob art in this house.

Does it have a lift? I would hate walking up that many stairs just to get to the front door 🥵.

Since someone else is buying me the house, I can afford to purchase a lift and the requisite amount of boob art.  Probably even a blue giraffe for the back yard.

The blue giraffe has to be there.

I wonder if I can get a blue giraffe in my baggage to nz..

I would buy this one for the view alone.

and not to mention it's in a wine region

and beef country.

and honey country.

but sadly it's been taken off the market recently.

Can i have this one if someone's buying? I might need a bit of cash for some new furniture and bathroom renovations though.

I like the glass house. We have the same pair of ovens! Does it have the glass that turns opaque? Otherwise think of all the money you'd need to spend on window coverings! I'd love it if there were more mature trees around there.
