Teen mum’s puppies have figured out how to get out of the playpen, and 💩 on the floor, chase their mother and get underfoot. I’m torn between extending the door to the full height, because while that keeps the puppies in, it makes it difficult for teen mum to get in there to feed them; and leaving the door low for her easy access but their escape route. Also 💩.

Disclaimer: I have no litter raising experience.

I'd contain the little poo machines in their playpen with the full height door. Because poo. Yuck. Is teen mum still a reluctant feeder and needing you to sit with her? If she is then I assume you're aware of when it's feed time and can lower the door to let her in, hang out with her during the feed, let her escape then raise the door again, and keep the puppies contained.

I think it's time for some updated photos!

I mean marauding puppy pics, not pooh pics

If Paddlepop is ok with that, because she’s my tech expert.

Teen mum is still a reluctant feeder. I bribe her with cheese to sit still while she feeds them.

As a cat person I could turn into a dog person for those pups. Very cute.

Can we please have a photo of the gargoyle cat?

DS3 has made a “playground” for them. They seem to like it and aren’t trying to escape as much. Teen mum has taken to lying on the back of the couch so she can watch them, but they can’t reach her.

They behaved for their EB visitor today; cuddles and tail wags rather than piddling on laps.

Thanks for coming, HJ, I hope you weren’t too horrified.
